Taskers were contracted to design and manufacture fabric to encapsulate nine x 62 meters tanks being constructed by Stella Industrial on Barrow Island by Chevron as part of the Gorgon Project.
1300 meters of a special fire retardant fabric was imported from Canada.
16000 meters of PVC Keda was imported from Spain.
8.3 ton of alluminium track was extruded to be fitted to purpose designed framework, which was erected around the perimeter of each tank (194 meters).
The pannels were then slide into place.
The project achieved its propose to satisfy enviromental requirements on the Island.
