Monsoon Cup

In August 2010 Taskers designed and manufactured the Foundation 36 spinnakers for the Malaysian fleet, to be used in the Monsoon cup 2010.

These spinnakers were designed slightly bigger in area, by increasing the mid girth, making them more suited to running on the windward, leeward course set for this event. At the conclusion of the Monsoon cup it was agreed that the extra area was a big hit with the competitors.

In 2011 Taskers were approached to tender for mainsails and 140% Genoa’s for the same event.

We were requested to design the mainsails with a significant increase in the roach so as to give the boats more power in the predominantly light conditions sailed at the venue in Malaysia.

Taskers were selected due to the options presented and the service provided.
